Our Story

Rooted in the local community

Roots & Shoots is an independent garden centre built around a love of plants, practical knowledge and friendly service. We’ve been growing our own bedding plants for decades and helping local gardeners find the right plants and products for their outdoor spaces.

Our on site dog groomer keeps your pup looking and feeling their best with convenient, professional care.
From baths and brushing to trims and nail care, everything is handled right here on site.

We’re more than somewhere to pick up a plant. Explore locally grown bedding, seasonal shrubs, pots, compost and garden essentials, with friendly advice whenever you need it. Then take a break in The Garden Café and enjoy good food, homemade cakes and a relaxed atmosphere.
